About the calculator
A free unit-economy tool for sellers on Wildberries and Ozon — the two dominant marketplaces in Russia.
Methodology
We compute profit using the formula:
profit = price − cost − commission(category, model) − logistics(weight, volume) − packaging − tax(regime) − ads − return_cost
Breakeven price is derived analytically: breakeven = fixedCost / (1 − commission% − tax%).
The target-margin feature solves the same equation for the required selling price.
Commission snapshot
We maintain a machine-readable snapshot of all 15 commission categories for both marketplaces at /articles/tarify/. The snapshot is versioned, dated and distributed under CC-BY-4.0. Source links for every row are included.
Zero-PII architecture
All calculations happen inside your browser. Your cost, price and category never leave the device. The only data that reaches the server is anonymous analytics (Yandex.Metrica), loaded only after you accept cookies.
Tech stack
- PHP 8.4 — server-side templates and SEO rendering (no framework).
- Vanilla TypeScript + Alpine.js for the calculator component.
- Self-hosted Inter font (no Google Fonts — compliance with Russian 152-FZ).
- Progressive Web App — works offline after the first load.
